  • Reconnect

    Reconnect is an early intervention program for young people aged between 12 and 18 who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless and their families.

    Reconnect accepts referrals from everyone, including service providers, friends, families and young people themselves.

    Reconnect helps young people to stabilise their living situation, develop more positive relationships with their family and support connections with education, work, training and the community.

    Reconnect can help parents, guardians and families to:
    -Work things out with the young person
    -Find out the best way to talk things through
    -learn to live together when things are hard
    -Learn to live apart but stay connected

  • Family Reconciliation Program

    The Family Reconciliation Program provides confidential support to young people and their families at risk of homelessness, or who are at present homeless, and their families.

    The Family Reconciliation Program aims to support your own right to feel safe and live free by:
    -Providing an immediate response to the family who is at risk of breakdown
    -Assisting young people, and families to develop safety plans based upon the identified risk factors and supports
    -Providing information about the needs of the young person or family
    -Providing information and support about housing and accessing housing services
    -Providing information and access to educational, vocational or centrelink services
    -Providing information and access to counselling options
    -Providing cultural support to young people and families from Indigenous and CALD communities.

    Who can access the service:
    -The service is available to youth with and without children who are seeking assistance, information or support
    -Workers from agencies who are seeking a secondary consult about youth or single women transitions
    -Relatives or friends who are seeking information and support about family reconciliation -Youth and families who are residing in the Ballarat and surrounding area

    A free and confidential resource for families and young people aged 15 to 25 who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness.

  • Young Women's Crisis Housing

    Intensive case management support for women between 15 to 25 years, who present themselves as homeless.
    • The service is available to youth with and without children who are seeking assistance, information or support.
    • Workers from agencies who are seeking a secondary consult about youth or single women transitions.
    • Relatives or friends who are seeking information and support about youth, and/or single women transitions.
    • Youth/Single women who are residing in the Ballarat and surrounding area.

    Supports people aged 16 to 25, to access the private rental market or sustain their current accommodation.

  • Family Violence Crisis Program

    Family Violence Crisis Program The service is available to women with and without children who are seeking assistance, information or support in relation to their experience of family and domestic violence.
    Our service aims to support your own and your children’s rights to feel safe and live free from violence by:
    • Providing an immediate crisis response to women and children who are at risk and those who are fleeing family violence.
    • Helping women and professionals to think about the risk factors which impact on women and/or children’s safety.
    • Assisting women and children to develop safety plans based upon the identified risk factors and supports.
