  • DOTS

DOTS provide a safe, supportive and respectful environment with a strong focus on Literacy, Numeracy and Social Development. We aim to connect students to learning by negotiating and developing an Individualised Learning Plan (ILP) tailored to meet each young person’s needs, personal interests, abilities and future aspirations. DOTS aims to develop students learning through transition and pathways including:
-Transitioning or returning to mainstream education
    -DECV (Distance Education Centre Victoria)
    -Work Ready
    -Outreach

The students DOTS support may be experiencing a range of factors including:

    -Previous school refusal and disengagement
-Mental health issues and/or medical reasons
    -Previous bullying or social exclusion

Students may be referred to DOTS by schools, parents, carers or agencies.
